Children's feet are not miniature versions of adult feet - they are complex, growing structures that need the right environment to develop naturally. Elio understands this and offers three carefully tailored versions for different ages and stages of development.
Elio Preschool (size 20-25) is designed for the very youngest. Extra soft materials and easy fasteners that little fingers can handle. Wide toe box provides space for the rapid changes that occur in preschool age, while the flexible sole allows muscles and joints to develop naturally.
Elio Kids (sizes 26-34) caters to more active middle school feet. Reinforced construction for playground adventures and schoolyard activities but still with the essential flexibility that allows the arches to develop independently. Materials that withstand daily use without compromising comfort.
Elio Junior (size 35-38) is designed for teenage feet that are approaching adult size but are still growing. A more sophisticated design that respects the increased style requirement, while continuing to promote natural gait and posture.
All versions share Be Lenka's basic barefoot principles: wide toe box for natural toe spread, flat sole with no height difference from toe to heel, and ultra-flexible materials that move with the foot instead of against it. Light enough not to cause unnecessary fatigue, strong enough to protect against the challenges of the ground.
Premium materials that age beautifully and develop character with the child. Removable insoles for easy cleaning and adjustment. Designed in collaboration with Palacký University Olomouc to ensure scientific research guides the design.

We need about 5-10 business days to pack and ship each order, except for products from Saltic, where it takes about 10-15 business days due to the manufacturing process. - Warehouse: We currently have warehouses in Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Estonia.
- Shipping : Our shipping fee is normally 69 SEK for standard shipping.
- Right of withdrawal : You always have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days according to the Swedish Distance Selling Act. This is counted from the day you receive your order. Returns made after the right of withdrawal has expired and up to 30 days will be refunded with a store credit on your customer page that you can use for new purchases.
- Complaints : If the product is defective, you have a warranty according to the Consumer Purchase Act. We want you to feel satisfied, so contact us immediately if you experience any problems and we will do our utmost to fix or replace your purchase.

. You can order a return label from us and you will then receive a QR code or return label that you take to your nearest representative. This service costs 69 SEK and we will deduct this amount from your refund, so you do not have to spend any money.

Why are barefoot shoes good?
Regular shoes are often too tight, which has squeezed your toes together for years. You may develop hallux valgus, which requires surgery, or perhaps a heel spur that takes months to heal.
Your toes need their space.
Your toes are probably squeezed into regular shoes like most people. Maybe you have pain in your feet or toes. Most often it is the big toe that takes the most damage. If you walk for too long, you can develop Hallux Valgus which becomes so bad that surgery is required.
With barefoot shoes, you give your toes space and allow your feet to strengthen. Many people experience a dramatic difference in just a couple of weeks.
